Our school’s new name has been unveiled

The fledgling school is now well into its second year. Teaching began last year in the Emily Sadler building; an additional classroom was added in January to enable the appointment of a second teacher; the roll is currently forty-eight children in pre-school (reception) and class one and two.

Following a successful name search, approval has been given for the school to be named 'Happy Home Education Centre, Kopere'. The next step is to have the school registered with the Kenyan Government. The Ministry of Health and the Department for the Environment have both visited the site, they are satisfied with all that they have seen and have given the necessary certificates; the Ministry of Education have also visited the site and formal registration is expected. This project however, must now re- main on hold until Happy Home can open it’s doors once again.
