Off to college and university

Each year a small number of students gain the necessary qualifications to study at university or one of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Colleges in Kenya. Each year we aim to find donors to sponsor these students through their course of tertiary education. This represents a commitment to provide funding for the three years of study.

This year, by God's provision and grace, we were able to provide funding for four students. Leaving to go on to further education is a special event in these young people's lives. It is made extra special by bringing them together and presenting them with a laptop computer, mobile phone and other materials needed for study. The photographs below show the young people receiving the materials and the funds needed to pay their fees, from the Trustees in Kenya.

For prayer:

• Please give thanks for the donors who have been able to commit to providing the funding for the young people;

• Pray for the young people as they go off to their studies, that they make new friends, that they are able to adapt to living and working in a new environment and that they are able to study successfully.
