Update from Happy Home (August 2026)

The children in care with Guardian families are all doing well. Haggai (site manager), Angeline and Odia (trustees) visited the children with their Guardian families during July and August. The new school year began on the 24th August. Those children in care went back to school with no arrears in fees.

With the building of classrooms on site for the primary school, the amount of land available for growing crops has reduced. However, the land has been prepared for the planting of maize and beans. This is in advance of the short rains coming and providing the necessary moisture for germination and growth.

The computers which were donated earlier to the school are now all in use by the grade 6 pupils.

Through God's provision of a generous donation, Happy Home Kenya Trust has been able to send money towards the building of a new classroom for the developing school.

For prayer:

• Give thanks for the recent donation toward the building of the next permanent classroom.

• For the well-being and safekeeping of the children.

• For the trustees, workers and teachers at Kopere Education Centre, that God will continue to give them the strength and energy to fulfil their responsibilities.

• In a little over a years time the people of Kenya will be facing another General Election and electioneering has begun. Please pray for smoothness in this whole process and that there will be no violence between the supporters of the different Parties.
