The Trustees in Kenya have been hosting the Bishop of Masena for 3 days, 11th to 14th April. He has installed an Archdeacon and ordained 2 priests at the Centre. The Bishop, the new Archdeacon and the 2 Deacons all stayed at Happy Home and then on the 14th April, 8 parishes attended as part of the event. People from Kenya, Uganda and South Africa were present in the gathering. Tents were erected to give some shade. The Trustees were delighted that the centre was being used in this way. This is exactly how Johanna (founder of Happy Home) saw the original Happy Home in Tamu being used, as a centre for learning and celebration as well as caring for orphans.
