This year we have said farewell to Lyn Reeve, who for personal reasons has stepped back from being on the Board of Trustees, here in the UK. Lyn has been a faithful and devoted member of the Trustee Body for many years and remains an active supporter of the trust. We thank her sincerely for her service.

In the coming year, David Westcott, our treasurer, will be stepping down from his role. Once again, David has been a dedicated worker on behalf of the trust. Similarly, David will also continue to support the work of the charity. Thank you David for all of your hard work over many, many years, you too will also be greatly missed.

If as a supporter, you feel as though you would like to get more involved with the work of Happy Home, either as a potential trustee or because you have expertise in an area or field that you think we could make use of, then please contact us via the contact form here

Meanwhile, as reported earlier one of our crazier trustees secured a place on the GB age group team for the European Triathlon Championship in Madrid in June 2023. Phil finished 25th out of 35 starters in his age group in this European championship. The effort was generously supported via a JustGiving page with the result that a total of nearly £1,200 was raised towards the construction of permanent classrooms for the school at Happy Home. Using this money as seed funding we are applying for grants for the full cost of building three permanent classrooms.
